BIE is an open source integration program similar to Microsoft Biztalk. BIE can convert all types of flat files (CSV,fixed, etc) to XML, and can convert the other way around (XML to CSV,fixed). Many thanks to Ben Garcia, Jimmy Sanderson and Nicole Selph of CCI-Triad for being a Host for the meeting and presenting an in-depth and live overview of WebFocus systems at CCI-Triad. The facilities at CCI-Triad were great and the provided coffee and donuts took out the chill from the cold and wet morning.

During the afternoon session we learned that the University of California, Office of the President, is moving towards WebFocus to augment and provide a Web Interface to their large Mainframe Focus applications. UC is also a PeopleSoft customer.
