Our Promise Campaign

our promise logo

Once a year, our community turns to us for help in meeting a great variety of social needs. All California state employees are given a special opportunity to help support our neighbors through the annual Our Promise: California State Employees Giving at Work.

Through Our Promise campaign, you can choose to contribute from more than 1,000 Bay Area agencies, or to any non-profit agency of your choosing. If you prefer to support California State University, East Bay, your gift will make a difference to our faculty and students. To donate to CSUEB, choose the “Write-In Organization” section and enter the tax id number 94-6128893 on the pledge form.

Completing the Payroll Deduction form is quick and easy. Fill in the lines at the top and middle of the form, indicating the monthly amount you would like to give and the agency or cause you would like to support. You can drop off or send by inter-office mail your completed form to University Advancement on the 4th floor of the Student Services and Administration Building, Suite 4800.

You can also make a one-time donation with your check made out to Our Promise (see box numbered 6 on the form).

If you have any questions, please contact Katie Carpenter in University Advancement 5-4378 or katie.carpenter@csueastbay.edu. We invite you to care for those among us who are less fortunate and give what you can. If you are already contributing through the Our Promise, thank you for your continued support. Remember, every gift makes a difference!

Haven Sexual Assault Prevention Training for Students

On October 15, 2014, all CSUEB students received an email indicating that they MUST complete sexual assault prevention training online. Due to the large population of students receiving this message, it is likely that staff and faculty will receive questions regarding the training.

In anticipation of this, we have created a FAQ page on the Title IX Website. Please either direct students to the FAQ web page, or reference the web page to answer common questions.

Should you receive questions that cannot be answered by the FAQ page, please direct students to send an email to: title9@csueastbay.edu for assistance.
