Exciting new avenues for learning and communication via the Internet and computer technology are available to you. You can
register for classes, check grades, and much more via the Internet.
Blackboard: A software system that
enhances communication between you, your classmates, and your instructors. Your instructor can post course materials on the
web for you to access through Blackboard. You can also send and receive messages from classmates.
Class Schedule: Information specific to each academic
quarter: class times, locations, and instructors. It also describes new courses, programs, and registration procedures and
dates.
Horizon: As a registered CSUEB student you will receive
a free Horizon e-mail account through STSC. Horizon gives you advertisement-free e-mail and 10 MB of storage.
Essential student information from the University is sent to you at your Horizon address. You can use Horizon as your primary
e-mail account — or just to receive important University information.
MyCSUEB:
Check holds on your record before attempting to register for classes. Once you have been registered, you can view your list
of classes, change your personal information, and check grades a week after classes end. Visit Grades & Transcripts
to request official transcripts.
NetID: You will need a NetID to access any online system.
Visit NetID for more information. If you have problems with login, contact
helpdesk@csueastbay.edu.
Online Courses: CSUEB offers a number of courses taught
exclusively online. No less academically challenging than other coursework, this format provides you the flexibility to
schedule your "class" time.
University News: Learn more about what is going
on at CSUEB or get updates on campus events. You will also find university speeches and publications.
Waitlist: Find out what classes you are wait
listed for, or visit Waitlists for
more waitlist information.
