Voluntary Long Term Disability (LTD)
- Voluntary Long Term Disability insurance plan, offered by The Standard, provides loss of income protection (up to 60%) due to a qualified disability.
- All benefits eligible CSU employees who are not currently provided with an employer paid Long Term Disability plan are eligible to apply.
- Employees may enroll during the first 60 days of employment (or eligibility) for guaranteed coverage. After the 60 day deadline, employees may still apply for LTD insurance however The Standard may require a medical insurability report.
- Two plans are offered, one with a 30-day and one with a 90-day waiting period.
