Enter Absences for Employees

Via MyCSUEB

  1. Login to MyCSUEB
  2. Click the Timekeeper tab (if not already on the Timekeeper page)
  3. Click Enter Absences in the Timekeeper section
  4. Click the ID of the employee you wish to report absences for
  5. Click the dropdown button in the Absence Name column
  6. Select the absence type you wish to report
  7. Enter the Begin and End Dates of the absence (they may be the same)
    • To report Partial Hours, click the dropdown button in the Partial Days column
    • Enter the actual hours you wish to report
  8. Click the Add Comments link if required and enter comment as prompted
  9. Click Submit (the employee will receive an email notification of the information you entered for them)
  10. Click OK to return to the entry page

Via PeopleSoft HR (HEBPRD)

  1. Login to PeopleSoft HR (HEBPRD)
  2. Navigate to Manager Self Service > Time Management > Report Time
  3. Click Timekeeper Absence Entry
  4. Click the ID of the employee you wish to report absences for
  5. Click the dropdown button in the Absence Name column
  6. Select the absence type you wish to report
  7. Enter the Begin and End Dates of the absence (they may be the same)
    • To report Partial Hours, click the dropdown button in the Partial Days column
    • Enter the actual hours you wish to report
  8. Click the Add Comments link if required and enter comment as prompted
  9. Click Submit (the employee will receive an email notification of the information you entered for them)
  10. Click OK to return to the entry page
