Cal State East Bay's photography program teaches both traditional and digital techniques with an emphasis on fine arts. All advanced courses can now be done digitally and we have high quality digital cameras, ink jet printers, and a range of classes to help students make the digital transition. Our friendly and knowledgeable faculty and staff make this the perfect place to learn photographic theory and techniques leading to a BA or BFA degree.

The diversity of our student population is one of the strengths of our campus and the faculty and staff of the photography program are strongly committed to helping each student achieve their educational goals.
