Welcome to the BaySync Migration FAQ, where answers will be provided to the most commonly asked question regarding the new platform for East Bay’s community and campus information portal. This page will be updated regularly as new information is obtained throughout the migration process.
The new BaySync is the next iteration of East Bay’s community and campus information website and portal. It utilizes a new back-end platform that will provide better integration of relevant and timely information for faculty, staff, and students. It will retain many of the functionality of the old portal while introducing new ones to better serve the campus.
BaySync is a great platform for campus information and facilitating our diverse and unique communities. Unfortunately the platform has been bought by a new software company who is taking it to a different direction that will decrease the functionality East Bay has cultivated with BaySync. Therefore, we are moving to a different portal that will continue East Bay’s path to serving a portal for the campus community.
We expect to launch the first version of the new BaySync in early summer. More details will be made available through this FAQ and other channels as the transition progresses.
