Content Area


Overview

The Content Area provides a WYSIWYG editor where content editors can enter text and media. Content Area is available for both the landing and interior pages. You can choose between a regular Content Area or a Content Area - Multiple Columns which allows up to three columns of content to be added and displayed side-by-side.

How To Add A Content Area / Content Area - Multiple Columns

  1. Log into Cascade CMS and select your site.
  2. Navigate to the page where the Content Area will be added.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Select + icon on Main to add a new content type.

  5. Once the new content type is created, select Content Area or Content Area - Multiple Columns.

  6. *Optional*
    Select a media type to add to your content area or you can skip this by selecting none.

  7. *Optional*
    Adding Titles - The Column Section Title is the main title for the entire section, whereas the Column Title is a subtitle for the specific content for the content area.

  8. Use the WYSIWYG editor to add texts, links or media.

  9. Additional options could be added to the bottom of the Content Area
    • Display Read More Link
    • Display Accent Marker Highlight - Interior Page Content Areas Only
    • Display Button
    • Display Divider Below Content

  10. *Content Area - Multiple Columns Only*
    Using the + icon you can add a 3rd column(Minimum 2 columns, maximum 3 columns)
    Using the Up and Down arrows you can reorder the columns

  11. Select Preview Draft.

  12. After previewing changes made on your draft, select Submit.

  13. Enter Comments for changes made.

  14. Select Check Content & Submit to add changes to your site.

  15. Select the Check Box.

  16. When you're ready to go live, the last step is to publish the changes.
