The Masters of Economics at Cal State University East Bay supplied me with a strong foundation in quantitative and analytical methods. The program has a top notch faculty who encourage students in a challenging curriculum of complex economic theory, econometrics and data analysis. The professors designed coursework with real life scenarios to apply the abstract theories, which I found extremely useful inside and outside the classroom. I sharpened my presentation, logical thinking and informed decision making skills in the MA Economics program. These skills translate to many diverse fields, aiding me greatly as I advance my career path.

I am using the knowledge that I gained from Cal State East Bay's Economics Master program on a daily basis. Of all the classes that I took, I think it was the Research Methods class that stuck with me the most. By applying all the knowledge gained from economic theory and econometric classes to a research project that spans a single quarter, the Research Methods class is very good at simulating a real world research environment and really helped me prepare for the working world.
