Fall 2024 New International Student Orientation

 

Virtual Pre-Departure Orientations 

We will be hosting several virtual pre-departure workshops beginning in March 2024 to review everything new international students for Fall 2024 need to know before arriving in the U.S.  Admitted students will receive an email with the zoom registration links.

  • May 3, 8:30 am PDT
  • Additional dates may be added in June and July

Spring 2024 INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ORIENTATIONS

 If you missed orientation or would like to review the information presented regarding F-1 immigration regulations, please review the slides. 

 

Spring 2024 Online Check-In Procedure

For new international students who will be inside the USA for Spring 2024, you must complete the virtual "check in" procedure after your arrival by submitting the following documents to this Google Form. You will need to sign in using your HORIZON email. 

  1. New Student Information Form- this must include a valid USA address and US phone number. Do NOT complete the check in procedure until you can complete this form.
  2. Passport- copy of your bio page in your passport
  3. I-94 (www.cbp.gov/i94)
    • I-94 Record page 

If you are transferring from another school in the U.S. (from any level - high school, undergraduate, or graduate) as an F-1 student, you must complete the transfer of your SEVIS record to Cal State East Bay within 15 days of the beginning of the semester.
