Orientation/Checking-In

Congratulations and welcome to Cal State East Bay!  The Center for International Education (CIE) provides advice and assistance to J-1 international students. We ask that you visit our office upon your arrival to campus and bring the following documents with you:

• Your passport with valid visa
• Your  DS-2019
• A copy of your electronic I-94
• Knowledge of your US Address and phone number
• Proof of Health Insurance

In addition to checking in, please also plan on attending a new student orientation.

When you come to orientation or your make-up appointment, please bring your:

• DS-2019
• Passport
• I-94
