ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF SINGERS WILL BE ACCEPTED DUE TO STAGE RESTRICTIONS. SINGERS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY ORDER OF APPLICATION. HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE TEACHERS SHOULD CONTACT DR. JAMES DIRECTLY IF INTENDING TO BRING MORE THAN 8 STUDENTS.

AJ Walker

Guest Conductor, AJ Walker

AJ Walker started his musical career singing with the Philadelphia Boys Choir and Chorale for 7 years. With the choir, AJ sang in numerous locations around the world including Switzerland, Australia, South Africa, and Israel. He attended Millersville University of Pennsylvania and graduated with Bachelors Degree in music. At Millersville, AJ co-founded and directed the Men's Choir, served as Drum Major and President of the Marauder Marching Band, and conducted the 2006 Musical production "Fame." After College, AJ performed with Sight and Sound Theaters in the 2009 production "Voices of Christmas", and served as Director of Curriculum for the Music Preparatory Program at El Redentor United Methodist Church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He also served as Director of Choirs for the Pennsylvania Academy of Music. Most recently, AJ served as Artistic Director of the 'Music for Everyone' Lancaster Community Chorus and Director of Music at Linden Hall School for Girls in Lititz PA. AJ also performed regularly with the Mendelssohn Club Choir of Philadelphia as a Core singer and soloist. In his spare time he also enjoys composing choral and instrumental music. Currently, AJ lives in Hayward California and recently graduated with a Masters degree in Choral Conducting from California State University East Bay.
