Starting in 2015, the Center for Community Engagement instituted Make a Difference Week (MADW), an extension of national Make a Difference Day, the largest single day of volunteering in the country. MADW provides our campus community with the opportunity to explore how we, as individuals and as a campus, can contribute to the public good. MADW features several events on campus and culminates in the day of service.
2019-2020 Make a Difference Week will be October 21st – 26th.
More info will be available at a later time...
In partnership with the General Studies Program, the CCE coordinates multiple half day service projects for freshmen as part of their Freshmen Year Experience General Studies (GS) course to connect students to the local community and learn about social responsibility. The projects run March through April.
