Early Childhood Education

The M.S. in Education, Option in Early Childhood Education is specifically designed for the working practitioner to gain professional knowledge about curriculum and leadership for children ages birth to eight years old. The concentration emphasizes developmentally and culture appropriate practices, “hands-on” experiences, evidence-based instruction, working with families, and ways to build leadership and professionalism. The program employs a combination of face-to-face, online and hybrid classes with Thursday early evening and Saturday morning formats to maximize flexibility and convenience. National, state and local documents are evidenced in coursework. The program includes a practicum and site visit.
