In Fall 2019, the Executive Committee of the Academic Senate created a subcommittee with the following charge:
recommending revisions of the California State University East Bay Constitution and By-Laws to address inconsistencies, omissions, and other issues identified in a revision of said documents by an Ad-Hoc Committee of the FAC in academic year 2018-19. These recommendations will be presented by this Special Sub-committee to ExCom and, thence to the Senate as a whole for approval, by a two-thirds majority, for consideration for adoption by a vote of the University Faculty, as detailed in Article X of the Constitution. (19-20 BEC 6).
