Introduction to, and counseling for, the field of teaching. Directed observations, assistant teaching, lectures, discussions, and reporting related to pre-school, elementary, secondary and non-school educational settings. Art Skills for Teachers (4)
Designed specifically for teachers with little or no art experience. Work in drawing, printmaking, weaving, papier maché, puppets, masks, batik, tie dyeing, lettering. Suggestions for translating teacher skills into activities for children. May be taken twice for credit. A miscellaneous course fee will be charged.
