About the EXCEL Program

The EXCEL program offers eligible students in-depth, long term academic support throughout their undergraduate education. Assistance is available in a wide variety of areas including Academic Advising, Personal Counseling, Scholarship Information, Career Development, Graduate School Advising, Learning Skills, and Tutoring in Basic Skills.

A team of friendly, highly trained counselors, staff, tutors, and student associates are available to help you. As a federally funded TRIO program, students must meet eligibility criteria to participate in the program. An EXCEL application with required documents should be submitted to the EXCEL Office Manager in order to determine eligibility. Joining EXCEL is like being part of an extended family that promotes the academic success and personal development of its members. For 45 years, EXCEL has had a proud tradition of helping undergraduates accomplish their academic and personal goals. If you are an eligible first time freshmen, transfer student, or continuing student, we hope you consider including EXCEL in your educational plans.
