The CSUEB Foundation is responsible to its Board of Directors. The primary responsibility of the Directors is to set the corporation's goals, establish its policies, and oversee the achievement of its objectives. Per the Foundation's Bylaws, the Board of Directors includes three full-time members of the faculty who are elected at large by the faculty, one community representative appointed by the President, and four administrators including the University President, the Chief Fiscal Officer, and two administrators appointed by the president. There are also three student positions on the Board of Directors. Two of these positions are filled by members of Associated Students, Inc., the other is an at-large position.
