All full-time benefited employees of the Foundation are entitled to holiday pay. To be eligible to receive pay for a holiday, employees must be on paid status the workday preceding and the work day post the holiday. Holidays should be recorded as HOLDAY in the earnings code on EZ- Labor the date the holiday is taken. An additional paid winter holiday was given in lieu of a personal holiday credit.
If an employee is required by his/her supervisor to work on an observed holiday, he/she will receive holiday credit (HC) that must be used within 30 days of accrual. If the accrual is not used within 30 days, the accrual will be lost.
The dates on this calendar are subject to change and may be rescheduled from time to time to conform to the University calendar with the following exceptions, New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Cesar Chavez Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
