Forever Pioneer Weekend 2016 - Peer Advocates for Wellness (PAW) Alumni Reunion
Cal State East Bay hosts alumni events around the Bay Area and in other key U.S. locations to help alumni network with each other and to share news from the University. Meet Pioneer alumni in all kinds of careers who can help you think about your next steps. Or come to share advice with recent graduates, or to have fun with old friends and to make new contacts.

Brannon (‘72, San Francisco State University), President and CEO, Falcons Landing; former Assistant Air Force Surgeon General for Medical Force Development and Nursing. Moderator: Dr. Evelyn Dilsaver (B.S. '77, Business Administration). The former president and CEO of Charles Schwab Investment Management, Dr. Dilsaver received an honorary doctorate in 2016 from the California State University, as well as Cal State East Bay’s Distinguished Alumni Award in 2008. She currently serves on the boards of Aeropostale, Blue Shield of California, Tempur Sealy International, and The Commonwealth Club, among others organizations. Recognition of her accomplishments includes the SF Business Times’ "100 Most Influential Woman" award for six years (2003-2009), and its "Outstanding Director" award in 2014.

Saturday, April 29: Fifth annual 5K AT EAST BAY on the beautiful Hayward Campus of Cal State East Bay, 8 pm.
A 3.1-mile race beginning and ending on the track at Pioneer Stadium. Dogs and strollers are welcome. More info.
October 19-21: Forever Pioneer Weekend 2017 - Cal State East Bay's third fall alumni reunion. The events will include a Golden Grad Celebration (honoring the Classes of 1961 through 1967), a Distinguished Alumni Awards Gala, Make a Difference Day volunteer projects, campus tours, and reunions and mixers.

A resource fair for innovation and entrepreneurship, featuring an innovation showcase and panel discussion, resource exhibits, workshops, guided networking, and design charrettes. Get connected to a network of resources, knowledge, and experiences to be a more effective innovator, launch your business, and strengthen the community of innovation in the East Bay.
Tuesday, February 21, 5:30-7:30 pm: Craft Brews & Tour at 21st Amendment Brewery, San Leandro. An informal gathering at a favorite San Leandro brewery, listed in the Brewers Association’s Top 50 Breweries of 2015. Bonus: Brewery tours were led by a 21st Amendment brew-expert, providing an in depth look at the mill room, brew house, fermenters, centrifuge, canning line, and packing line.
