Cal State East Bay hosts alumni events around the Bay Area and in other key U.S. locations to help alumni network with each other and to share news from the University. Meet Pioneer alumni in all kinds of careers who can help you think about your next steps. Or come to share advice with recent graduates, or to have fun with old friends and to make new contacts.

October 17-22, 2016 – Forever Pioneer Weekend 2016
Forever Pioneer Weekend, October 20-22, 2016 - Join President Leroy M. Morishita and the Alumni Association at Cal State East Bay’s second annual fall alumni reunion. Programs include a Golden Grad Celebration (Honoring the Classes of 1961 through 1966), a Distinguished Alumni Awards Banquet, Make A Difference Day volunteer projects.
Reunions and mixers celebrate Alumni of Color and alumni from 11 different departments and programs: Choir, Communicative Sciences & Disorders (in honor of the Aphasia Treatment Program’s 20th Anniversary), ASI, Dance, English Department, Kinesiology, Library Student Assistant, Master’s in Public Administration (MPA), Multimedia, Peer Advocates for Wellness (PAW), and the Transglobal Executive MBA (TEMBA) program.
Orange County, CA: Monday, November 7, 6-9 pm: Southern California CSU Mega Mixer in Orange County, Twenty Eight Restaurant and Lounge, 19530 Jamboree Road, Irvine. $20. Make your reservation.
Network with alumni from Cal State East Bay and multiple CSU campuses up and down the state. You will also have the unique experience of enjoying gourmet appetizers and craft cocktails in the restaurant’s private event space. Twenty Eight Restaurant and Lounge is a critically acclaimed establishment - the restaurant’s executive chef Shirley Chung was a finalist in season 11 of Top Chef New Orleans and has worked with celebrity chefs such as Thomas Keller, Guy Savoy and Mario Batali.

Seattle-area alumni are invited to step inside the world headquarters of Amazon, the entity that seeks to be “Earth’s Most Customer-Centric Company,” and hear directly from Cal State East Bay graduates about Amazon. Event host Steve Tami ’83 and others will describe Amazon’s culture and product offerings such as Prime, Amazon Web Services, Amazon Video and more. With a background in accounting, finance, and strategic planning, Steve is a Director in Amazon’s Digital Accounting group.

A school psychologist, Anne is a past winner of an American Psychological Association dissertation research award, and she has published in professional and literary journals.
