Remedial

If you have completed your remedial sequences you can go on to college level English and Math. If you are still working on completing your remediation sequence you can either go to a community college over the break and continue your sequence, come to CSUEB and continue your remediation, or take a break over the summer and finish your remediation in the Fall. What ever option you choose, please inform the General Education Program office.

If you want to know what the equivalencies are for remedial English at community colleges, please come to the General Education Program office - WA LM 55, call the office 510-885-2941 or email

If you want to know what the equivalencies are for remedial Math at community colleges - they will be up on Monday, May 2nd.

If you think you are going to fail the remedial course this quarter and this is will be your 2nd NC you want to speak with the GE office for your options. If this will be you first NC – you have another chance – but must pass the course in either Summer or Fall.

Remember that the remedial policy states that you must be in a remedial course every quarter until completed.
