Summer Questions

You can take take classes over the summer either at CSUEB or at another institution. The classes you can take are:

• Critical Thinking
• English 1001/1002 (must have a C- to get credit)
• Oral Communication
• College level Math (must have a C- to get credit)
• Area B - Science - if not taken as a freshmen cluster
• Area C - Humanities - if not taken as a freshmen cluster
• Area D - Social Science - if not taken as a freshmen cluster
• Area F - Performing Arts and Activites
• American Code requirement

If you are not coming to CSUEB during the summer you need to make sure that the courses that you will be taking elsewhere are equivalent to the courses at CSUEB. You can do this by going to assist.org. Assist is a website that allows the user to see what course are equivalent at other community colleges and CSU's and what GE classes fit into what areas. If you need help figuring out what classes are equivalent, PLEASE consult an advisor either at the UAC or the GE office. We do not want you taking a course that will not transfer back to CSUEB.

If you do take a course that will tranfer back to CSUEB, you will need to send an offical transcript to:
