Area C

Area C - Humanities (12 units minimum) - these courses include a significant writing component and emphasizes advanced communication and critical thinking skills. No course taken to satisfy the U.S. History, U.S. Constitution, and American Ideals code requirement may be applied to the G. E. requirements. Three courses in at least three different departments (as designated by course prefix and area) are required. Students completing C1, C2, and C3 with one of the MLL sequence of courses at CSUEB listed in C1 (below) may not take these courses credit-by-exam. (Bolded classes are offered in Winter 2009.) (Italicized classes are reserved for incoming freshman)
