Area C4 - Upper Division Humanities course (4 units minimum) - these courses include a significant writing component and emphsizes advanced communication and critical thinking skills. The course must be from a different department from the one taken for C3. Students who take a third course in a single foreign language or those who complete the entire sequence of HUM 1001-02-03, are exempt from this upper division requirement (but must still complete 12 upper division G.E. units).(Bolded classes are offered in Fall 2008.
