E - Capstone course (4 units minimum): This
area emphasizes the integration of knowledge from disciplines, includes
different methods of inquiry from at least two of the major GE Areas
(B,
C, D), requires a major writing component, and stresses advanced communication
and critical thinking skills. Courses satisfying Areas C4 and D4 must
be completed before enrolling in an Area E course. (Bolded classes
