Area B4, G
Area B4 - Quantitative Reasoning (Math)
can be fulfill with one of the following:
- Math: 1110, 1130, 1300, 1304,
1810; Statistics: 1000, 2010, 2088 (4 units minimum) (You must meet
the ELM requirements to enroll.) For remedial breakdown click
here. NOTE: Liberal Studies majors can satsify Area B4 with
Math 2011 which is taken later in the program. NOTE: A MATH or STAT
course satisfying G.E. Area B4 must be passed with a C- (CR) or better
if taken Fall 2001 or later.
Second Composition
- Students who complete their G.E. Area A at CSUEB must complete ENGL 1002 (4 units), to satisfy the second composition course requirement. Transfer students may complete their second composition requirements in any of the following ways: 1) English 1002 taken at CSUEB; 2) an IGETC 1B course, 3) an articulated course equivalent to ENGL 1002 or 4) a second certified A2 course.
