Diversity of Life
This sequence is ONLY open to Biological Science and Environmental Science majors The three discipline courses are: Biology 1401- Cell/Molecular Biology - Introduction to molecular and cellular biology with emphasis on the integration of structure and function in the living cell as a biological system; cellular aspects of inheritance. Biology 1402 -Plant Biology - An introduction to plant biology with emphasis on relationship of structure and function in plants, principles of classification and ecology, and a brief survey of the plant kingdom, including evolutionary relationships. Biolology 1403- Animal Biology - An introduction to animal biology with emphasis on relationship of structure and function in animals, principles of classification and ecology, and a brief survey of the animal kingdom, including evolutionary relationships. Biology 1403 is offered in Fall, Biology 1401 in Winter and Biology 1402 in Spring
