Evolution
Where do we come from? Science has new answers! We will explore the formation of the universe, the evolution of the earth, its oceans and atmosphere, and the emergence and development of living things. Come join us as we read, speak, write and aruge about the "Big Question." The three discipline courses are: Biology 1003- Biological Evolution - The origins of life forms such as bacteria, vertebrates, primates, and humans. Theories of human expansion and diversity with application to medicine and the future of human evolution. Geology 1004 - Evolution of Earth Systems- The evolving systems of the earth, including processes of the lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere. Physics 1600- Evolution of the Universe- Construction of an evolutionary synthesis and history from the Big Bang to the present. A model of events for the formation of the universe, our solar system, earth. Physcis 1600 is offered in the Fall; Geology 1004 in the Winter; Biology in the Spring Updated
