Interdependence of Chemicals, Living Things and Energy
This sequence is ONLY open to Chemistry, Geology, Physical Science, and Physics majors. You must be qualified for baccalaureate level mathematics to enroll in this sequence. The three discipline courses are: Chemistry 1101, 1102, 1103- General Chemistry - Fundamental principles of chemistry, chemical structure, bonding, equilibrium, dynamics, and reactions. Laboratory includes study of chemical and physical behavior of elements and compounds, and qualitative and quantitative analysis. Chemistry 1101 is prerequisite to Chemistry 1102 and Chemistry 1102 is a prerequisite to Chemistry 1103. Chemistry 1101 is offered in Fall, Chemistry 1102 in Winter and Chemistry 1103 in Spring
