You have reached the point where you are ready to decide which learning community to join. We have given a brief explanation of how the learning communities work under the General Education link.
You can choose your cluster based on your major (not all majors have specific learning communities; remember that you are working on your general education your first year), if you are an athlete by your sport or by campus (Concord) or you can choose by theme.
Again remember that you are working on your general education your first year within the freshman learning communities, so it is ok if the learning community you choose has nothing to do your major. The goal of general education and learning communities is to learn something new and interesting.
