Area C

Area C- Humanities course (12 units minimum) - these courses include a significant writing component and emphsizes advanced communication and critical thinking skills. No course taken to satisfy the U.S. History, U.S. Constitution, and American Ideals code requirement may be applied to the G.E. requirements. Only one course from departments other than Art, English, History, Humanities, Music, Modern Languages and Literatures, and Philosophy may be applied to Area C. Students completing C1, C2, and C3 with one of the MLL sequence of courses listed in C1 (below) may not take these courses credit-by-exam. Bolded classes are offered in Winter 2009.
