The HOST labs are a great opportunity to bring your middle school students to CSU East Bay to engage in some fun science activities. CSUEB undergraduates serve as "science guides" helping your students to explore scientific concepts. During the visit, your students will rotate in small groups to each of the six lab stations to get a hands-on experience that introduces a foundational concept in science. Each lab activity has been specifically designed by one of the science faculty to provide a rigorous academic activity with an inquiry-based approach. Our goal is for students to leave the HOST labs with a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and a positive attitude about science.
