Online Maintenance Requests

Making a maintenance request is both quick and easy. Maintenance requests will be processed through the Student Housing office. The resident will need to login to the housing portal to complete a maintenance request.

If you would have any questions or would like an update on the status of your request, please email housing_maintenance@csueastbay.edu

Please allow up to 36 hours for maintenance request to be completed. You will be updated through your horizon student email on your request.

Emergency Services and Maintenance

Student Housing collaborates with Campus Facilities Department, Environmental Health & Safety, University Police, and contractors for emergency service response beyond normal working hours in the evening, on we holidays, and weekends. For emergency services please contact the housing office at 510-885-7444 or Call the RA On-Duty if service is needed after 5 pm.

Examples of emergency services include:

  • No hot water
  • No water
  • No heat
  • Flooding or leak
  • Bodily fluid clean up
  • No electricity

If you have any requests regarding this process, please feel free to contact the Housing Office at (510) 885-7444 during normal business hours.

ALL AFTER HOURS EMERGENCY REQUESTS SHOULD BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF YOUR BUILDING’S RESIDENT ASSISTANT ON DUTY.
