Adobe Creative Cloud

The university offers access to Adobe Creative Cloud for all currently enrolled students. This gives you access to all of Adobe’s photography, design, video, and web apps on all your desktop and mobile devices.

Access to this suite ends after you are no longer eligible to register for classes (due to graduation or not having registered for classes for two consecutive terms). Be sure to download copies of your data before leaving the university.

Access to this suite for Faculty ends one year after the last term that was taught. Emeritus do not have access to this suite.

Access to this suite for all other employees ends at their separation date.


Access Adobe Creative Cloud here, click "Sign In", be sure to use your school email address and select "Company or School Account" if asked.

Google Workspace for Education Plus

Students are eligible for Google Workspace for Education Plus, which includes Gmail(aka Horizon email), Calendar, Drive(Doc, Sheets, Slides) Meet, Chat and additional classroom tools. 

Access to this suite for Students ends 12 months after you are no longer eligible to register for classes (due to graduation or not having registered for classes for two consecutive terms). Be sure to download copies of your data before leaving the university. 

Access to this suite for Faculty ends one year after the last term which was taught, unless they are Emeritus Faculty. Emeritus faculty retains lifetime access to Google Workspace as it is the current messaging system for the University.

Access to this suite for all other employees ends at their separation date.

Microsoft 365 for Education (previously known as Office 365)

Students are eligible for Microsoft 365 for Education, which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and additional classroom tools. 

Access to this suite for Students ends12 months after you are no longer eligible to register for classes (due to graduation or not having registered for classes for two consecutive terms). Be sure to download copies of your data before leaving the university.

Access to this suite for Faculty ends one year after the last term which was taught. Emeritus do not have access to this suite*.

Access to this suite for all other employees ends at their separation date.

Access Microsoft 365 for Education here, be sure to enter your school (Horizon) email address.

*If you are no longer eligible for a University funded Microsoft 365 license, you may be able to purchase a personal subscription at a 30% discount using this LINK  

Autodesk software

This offer is provided directly by Autodesk, students can get free one-year educational access to Autodesk products and services, renewable as long as you remain eligible(see AutoCAD details on the eligibility requirements). Explore AutoCAD design ideas quickly and easily with the integrated concept-to-production platform. Access to this suite is only available to current Students, it is not available to Faculty, Emeritus and Staff.

Discounted software offers for current Students, Faculty and Staff:

To simplify the process of obtaining software allowed for home/personal use, CSU East Bay has partnered with Kivuto Inc. to provide licensed software to currently enrolled students and currently employed faculty and staff.

Kivuto Features:

Kivuto provides any necessary product keys and instructions to download software for the time period indicated. License renewal is necessary in order to use the software after the expiration date. Software ordered through Kivuto can be downloaded.

Keep product key number (print screen capture or write down the number when the purchase is made), in case a reinstall is necessary in the future.
