Microsoft SharePointAbout SharePoint Microsoft SharePoint is a web-based tool that allows staff and faculty to share resources and work collaboratively on projects. At this time the campus is primarily using the document management feature of SharePoint. This allows users to store and organize business documents and content in one central location. Microsoft SharePoint has many other features that we will take advantage of as time goes on. Take a look at these Demos to see SharePoint in action! Accessing SharePoint To access CSU East Bay SharePoint Home go to: https://sharepoint.csueastbay.edu At the prompt type in your NetID preceded by ad\ (ad\NetID) From the Welcome page, click on your SharePoint site. Access to a particular site is based on security. Contact your technical support if you require access to a particular site. SharePoint Basics Microsoft has a series of on-line courses that will help you become familiar with the SharePoint. Each of these courses are accompanied by a guide. Please note that access to some features are dependent on your SharePoint site setup and security. For your conveniece, the guides can be accessed here.
