CSU East Bay is getting some much needed money.
The new center will help elementary and secondary schools by training new science and math teachers. It will also offer resources to help teachers in grades K through 12.
In 2009, CSU East Bay won a $1.5 million grant from the National Science Foundation that helped the university offer certificate programs in green jobs and prepare students for medical and veterinary schools.
