REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Mar 28, 2012 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Ernst & Young LLP has announced the appointment of Dianne Glynn as managing partner for its Redwood Shores office. Glynn will leverage almost twenty years of public accounting experience to strengthen the firm’s leadership in serving the Bay Area’s preeminent, high-growth technology and life sciences companies. Redwood Shores is one of Ernst & Young LLP’s three full-service Bay Area offices, and provides a strategic mid-peninsula location for the firm’s clients and people. Glynn succeeds Brad Herrmann, who has joined the firm’s Professional Practice Group.
As a partner in Ernst & Young LLP’s Silicon Valley-based Global Technology Center, and the West region leader of the firm’s Internet and Social Media Technology sector, Glynn serves many of the best known technology companies in the Bay Area. She also has extensive experience assisting these companies with their initial public offerings. Glynn is well known for guiding her clients through the complex issues in today’s ever-changing regulatory environment.

Glynn spent three years in the global Ernst & Young organization’s Capital Markets group in Frankfurt, Germany, serving several multi-national telecommunications clients and working with European EY practices on US regulatory matters. She also worked with companies conducting cross-border financing transactions.
Glynn is a Certified Public Accountant licensed to practice in California, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
