The District's Public Safety Division includes both fire and police departments. As one of five fire captains in the District, Theile will supervise fire suppression/prevention, hazardous fuel reduction treatments, emergency medical response calls, and training activities; oversee the operation of the fire stations and maintenance of fire equipment; and assist in the administration of the fire department.
