A.J. Gallardo, Cal State East Bay senior pitcher, was named May 22 to the 2012 All-NCAA Division II Western Region second team. This follows his being named to the All-California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Baseball second team announced earlier in the month.

In 51.1 innings of conference action, Gallardo allowed 50 hits, 15 earned runs and 16 walks, while striking out 33 CCAA hitters.
