‘ICE’, ‘ICE-X’ to showcase CSUEB dance creations Dec. 6-7

  • October 8, 2013

“Ice” and “ICE-X,” the annual holiday dance celebrations of Cal State East Bay’s Theatre and Dance Department, will take the stage on Friday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 for two shows at 2 and 8 p.m. All performances will take place in the Dance Studio (room 140 of the Physical Education building) on CSUEB’s Hayward Campus, 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd.

Produced by CSUEB theatre and dance professors Nina Haft and Eric Kupers, “ICE” features performances by the university’s dance and performance communities.  The Friday evening and Saturday afternoon displays performers’ dance projects. The Saturday evening “ICE-X” is a showcase for bold experimental creative works that merge theatre, music and social activism, according to Haft and Kupers.

Tickets for each of the three performances are $5. Additional information, as well as ticket purchases, is available online at www.csueastbaytickets.com or by calling (510) 885-3118.
