Cal State East Bay will offer a free Cyber Security Awareness and Response Community Workshop from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sept. 27 at its downtown Oakland Center.
Taught by a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) with over 25 years of experience in public safety and emergency management, participants will walk away with the tools and tips that can help their business and employees maintain cyber safety.
Topics for discussion include the evolving nature of cyber threats, how participants can protect their computer systems and mobile devices, and how to develop new, safe cyber habits that will keep their business secure.
The free non-technical workshop is open to all community members.
