Free concert Wednesday welcomes South China Normal University visitors

'The Jasmine Flower," from "Three Chinese Folk Songs, arranged by Victoria Bond and sung by soprano Yongyan (Molly) Wu will highlight a free concert at 8 p.m. April 21 in the Music Building, room 1055, celebrating a visit to campus by a delegation from South China Normal University.

Also on the program are "Red Red Flowers," a Chinese folk song orchestrated by Ryan Rey, the music department's 2009 Glenn Glasow Fellow, and Mozart's "Flute Concerto No. 2," performed by Professor Geng Tao. Buddy James will conduct the East Bay Singers' program, Jeffrey Sykes will be on the piano, and Lieven Smart, will be assistant conductor.
