“Apart,” a poem by CSUEB Librarian Aline Soules has been nominated by the journal Qarrtsiluni, for the 2011 Pushcart Prize.

The Pushcart Prize is a prestigious American literary prize by Pushcart Press that honors the best poetry, short fiction, or essays published in the small presses over the previous year. A nomination to the Pushcart is an honor as that particular editor believed the work to be the best of all they published that year. Winners will be announced in April 2011 and published in the annual anthology.

“Apart” is included in “Evening Sun,” a finalist in Qarrtsiluni's 2010 Chapbook contest.

Congrats, Aline!
