P.J. Hill discusses markets and morality, Feb 9

P.J. Hill will be the guest speaker for the Smith Center for Private Enterprise Studies lecture series on Feb 9.

He is Professor of Economics at Wheaton College and a Senior Fellow with Property and Environment Research Center (PERC). Hill will be discussing his published research, "Markets and Morality: Things Ethicists Should Consider When Evaluating Market Exchange,” which addresses the fact that “…historical movement from personal to impersonal systems was necessary for societies to develop the specialization of labor needed for modern production technologies.” Read article (PDF).

The Smith Center lecture series is free and open to the public. Event starts at 2pm in room 311 of the old University Union.
