CSUEB alumnus Gene Daniels recognized as prominent Newark community leader

Assemblymember Bob Wieckowski (D-Fremont) recognized four prominent community leaders, including CSUEB alumnus Gene Daniels, at the first African American Heritage Leadership Awards.
Daniels, is chairman of the Newark Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors as well as a State Farm insurance agent who is active in education and business issues. He is a Newark Memorial High School mentor and is on the Nishanti Advisory Board of Ohlone College.
"I was honored to participate in the first annual African-American Heritage Leadership Awards Ceremony," said Daniels.
