Voting open for ASI student government positions, May 23-30

Elections for CSUEB's Associated Students, Inc student government are now underway with more than two dozen candidates in the running to serve their fellow Pioneers in the 2012-13 academic year. 

Students have received election information in their Horizon e-mail accounts, and online voting opened on Blackboard May 23. It will be open though May 30.

Candidates are listed on the ASI Election 2012 Web site, and ASI will host a Candidates Meet & Greet at 7 p.m. Wednesday May 23 in Lassen Hall.

Those who miss the event can view videos from candidates on YouTube. Many candidates also have Facebook pages and are encouraging voters through Twitter and other social media. 

Winners will be announced before the end of the quarter. Students elected to positions will begin their responsibilities in the Summer 2012 Quarter and continue through Spring Quarter 2013.
