- April 11, 2013 5:00am
The Pioneers softball team will welcome girls from all over Northern California for "Girl Scout Day at Cal State East Bay” on Saturday, April 13, at 11am. Scouts that attend the game and complete the game day activities will earn a special CSUEB patch.
Girls will meet CSUEB softball players and join the Pioneers on the field during team lineups and the national anthem for the game against Cal State Dominguez Hills. Pioneers will also celebrate “Senior Day” by honoring the accomplishments of five senior players - Nicole Adair, Taryn Thomas, Sara Holdridge, Lauren Zweigle, and Emily Montenez - who will be ending their CSUEB playing career.
For more information or to RSVP for the event please contact Tenaya Davis at email@example.com. The first 100 fans at the game will receive a mini East Bay softball.
