Limited access to CSUEB Hayward campus week of June 10

  • June 6, 2013 1:00pm

Cal State East Bay will be hosting Hayward High School’s 6 p.m. graduation ceremony on Tuesday, June 11. The ceremony will take place in Pioneer Stadium.

To accommodate the graduates, guests and those with accessibility needs, the following adjustments will be made to parking and road access:

  • West Loop Road will be closed to all incoming traffic, except for those with accessible placards, starting at 3 p.m.  Vehicles already parked in Lot A or B, or on West Loop Road, will be allowed to exit via West Loop Road.
  • Lot A will be closed at 2 p.m., and will only be available for accessibility parking. Vehicles already in the lot before 2 p.m. will not be asked to move.
  • Lot B will be closed at 2 p.m. and will be used as an overflow for those with accessibility needs.  Access will be limited due to the closure of West Loop Road. Vehicles already in the lot before 2 p.m. will not be asked to move.
  • Lots M, N, and P will be closed at 2 p.m.  Vehicles already in the lot will not be asked to move.

In addition, Hayward High guests will be purchasing parking passes at the Carlos Bee/Old Hillary intersection and at the Harder Road/Old Hilary intersections.  As a result, traffic will be impacted.  You should allow extra time on Tuesday afternoon to get to your classes or office.

The use of Harder Road as your point of entry or exit to the campus is recommended, since the Carlos Bee Boulevard entrance tends to be impacted more during these events.
Wednesday, June 12, Thursday, June 13 and Friday, June 14
