CSUEB alumnus appointed president-elect of non-profit organization

Cal State Easy Bay alumni Ravi Mistry, MBA (’02), has been appointed president-elect of a non-profit organization in Silicon Valley, Enterprising Pharmaceutical Professionals from the Indian Sub-Continent (EPPIC) Global. Mistry will be serving a two-year term as president in 2014 and 2015.

Mistry has over 25 years of operations, finance, marketing, program/project management and corporate administration experience. His career spans several industries that include nuclear, hi-tech and life sciences. He is the Founder of The Mistry Group, which offers start-ups and growing ventures management consulting services for their business operations infrastructure, based in the Silicon Valley.

EPPIC Global was founded in 1998 by pharmaceutical and biotechnology professionals. Over the years, it has expanded its activities in all disciplines of life sciences. The organization provides a forum for entrepreneurial activities, networking and mentoring to life sciences professionals through a series of events. EPPIC Global also serves as a resource to students aspiring for careers in life sciences industry.

“I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to lead EPPIC Global as President. This will be the culmination of my 35+ years in volunteer work, including my active participation with the organization,” Mistry said.
