Now that gay couples can get married, what about taxes and other legalities? That is just one of the questions that will be discussed at the LGBTQ Faculty and Staff Question and Answer Session to be hosted by the Office of Diversity at Cal State East Bay from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 4.

The session will be held in room LI2250, across the courtyard from the University Library, on the Hayward Campus.

The program will be moderated by attorney Deb L. Kinney, a partner in the law firm of Johnston, Kinney & Zulaica LLP.

Among the detailed information that will be provided during the session is "what documents should be in place to protect gay married couples and domestic partners," according to Dianne Rush Woods, university diversity officer.

Members of the faculty and staff, as well as the general campus community, are welcome to attend. Admission is free.

To RSVP, as well as to direct any questions prior to the session, call (510) 885-2809 or send an e-mail to diversity@csueastbay.edu.
